So You Think overcame the odds to beat a star-studded field on Saturday, as the emerging leader of the spring took to the $200,000 Group Two Memsie Stakes (1400m).

Trained by Bart Cummings, So You Think had not raced since finishing second in the 2009 Emirates Stakes, so many discounted the four-year-old when looking through the final field.

It was a relatively disappointing run for Typhoon Tracy. The 2010 Memsie Stakes was the first up spring run for the Red Ransom mare, and while she led for a proportion of the race she tired and sank down the field.
